Senior school brings new opportunities – and new costs.

As students move into Years 11 and 12, the academic and extracurricular demands increase. Specialist subjects, updated technology requirements, uniforms, textbooks and course materials can all add pressure at what is already a pivotal stage of schooling.

The Starting Senior School Bursary has been established to support students entering Year 11 or Year 12 in 2027 whose families are experiencing genuine financial hardship.

Valued at $1,000, this bursary is designed to ease the financial burden associated with senior school and ensure students can focus on their learning, growth and aspirations.

Eligibility

This bursary is open to students who will be in Year 11 or Year 12 in 2027 (currently in Year 10 or Year 11). Eligible expenses may include:

• School uniforms

• Laptop or technology requirements

• Textbooks and specialist subject resources (e.g. printing for art or technology folios)

• Other school-related activities or essential needs.
