The Starting School Bursary allows for me to be safe in the knowledge that, yes, I will go to school with a proper uniform, and yes, I will have all the school books that I need to start the year. Yet despite what it may seem, the Starting School Bursary is more than just financial aid; it offers confidence, relief, and many more things which differ from recipient to recipient.

It takes stress away and lets me focus on being excited for high school and all the new experiences ahead. I also hope to give back to the school community by being an active and engaged member. This bursary will help provide important support for my education at Mac.Robertson Girls' High School in 2025, especially with the costs of school uniforms, textbooks and other essential school materials. It will also provide assistance with my continued learning of my musical instrument and recommencement of regular competitive extracurricular sporting activities.
