Starting a new school can be an expensive exercise, with the cost of uniforms, books and other necessities sometimes dampening an otherwise exciting experience. Regardless of financial circumstances, we want everyone to have a great start at Mac.Rob. That’s why we are pleased to offer a number of Starting School Bursaries to support students who may be experiencing financial difficulties.

The bursaries are open to incoming Year 9 students in 2023 whose families are in genuine financial need, assisting students with school-related purchases such as uniforms, books and myki cards. A limited number of bursaries will be awarded in December.

  • I am absolutely grateful for this bursary! It will certainly play a significant role in my education by allowing me to have access to certain things. A bursary like this will do magic in my life by enabling me to have a peaceful and joyful start to Mac Rob. This will work wonders in helping me to get a fresh uniform and better-quality laptop as well as assisting in my transport to school. Not only that, but I will also be able to purchase the books necessary for my education. Overall, I am extremely thankful for such an honour.
