Meaghan Shaw is a diplomat who has been posted to China as Australia’s Consul-General to Chengdu, as well as to Australia’s Embassy in Beijing.

Her education at Mac.Rob instilled in her insatiable curiosity, an ability to clearly communicate, and a desire to make a difference.

She trained as a journalist and worked at The Age for 10 years, predominantly covering politics. She then served as a media adviser to ministers in the Victorian and Commonwealth governments, and as a strategic communications adviser in the not-for-profit sector.
